To enter, go to the KN Getaways (sm) Sweepstakes page and fill out the form completely including the following information: name, address, email address and daytime and evening phone numbers. To enter by U.S. Mail, send a 3-inch-by-5-inch card on which you have hand-printed your name, address, city, state, zip, phone number and email address to: KN Getaways Sweepstakes, KN Ltd, 2505 Kerner Boulevard, San Rafael, CA 94901.

The Sweepstakes ends and all entries must be received by 11:59 PM on March 12, 2008. Winner will be chosen on March 14, 2008

Winner will be selected by a random drawing by a representative of Sponsor from all eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email and winners’ names will be posted on our Contest & Sweepstakes Winners page . The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes and submitted in accordance with the rules. Awarding of the prize is subject to the complete Official Rules and validation by Sponsor, whose rulings are final.

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States, who are at least eighteen years of age, except employees and their immediate families of Sweepstakes Entities, or the affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies of Sweepstakes Entities.

All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. A 1099 form will be filed with the IRS for major prizewinners.

Prize includes:
Exclusive 4-day, 3-night trip for two to attend the KN Getaway at Canyon Ranch in Lenox MA, (April 10-13, 2008); Round-trip airfare for two from the major domestic airport closest to the winner’s home to the Albany International Airport or the Hartford/Springfield (Bradley International) Airport. Round-trip ground transportation from the Albany International Airport or the Hartford/Springfield (Bradley International) Airport to and from Canyon Ranch, Lenox, MA. Approximate value: $4,500.00 plus airfare. (Note: is $4500 still accurate)

No substitutions, cash equivalents or transfers of prize permitted, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Winner and guest will be required to travel together on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents. Winner and travel companion must travel on dates specified by Sponsor. Exact dates are at the discretion of Sponsor all persons must depart and return to the same airport. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. If a winner resides within a 100 mile radius of Lenox, MA ground transportation may be provided in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value). Each winner’s guest must be of the age of majority on the date of departure and sign and return a liability release prior to ticketing of prize.

Winners are responsible for all expenses not identified in these Official Rules that are incurred as a result of claiming a prize, including without limitation all federal, state, or local or other taxes or fees, airport transportation, and any other expenses of whatever sort.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to (1) abide by these Official Rules, and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final in all respects; and (2) release, discharge and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies from all liability, claims or damages arising out of their participation in the Sweepstakes and the acceptance, use or misuse of a prize or any travel related thereto.

By accepting a prize, each winner and their guest thereby agrees except where otherwise prohibited by law to Sponsor’s use of their name, photograph, likeness, biographical information and city and street address on a worldwide basis and in all forms of media in perpetuity, without compensation. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be in violation of these Official Rules. Sponsor may deem ineligible any potential Sweepstakes entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if it determines in its sole discretion that the potential entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for and shall have no liability for printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related material. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for entries that are late, lost, damaged, destroyed, misdirected, undeliverable, illegible or incomplete.
Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be in violation of these Official Rules.

Sponsor will arrange for delivery of all prizes. The winners and their guests will be required to submit a signed Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, and confirmation that they have followed the Official Rules. The Affidavit must be signed and returned within 5 days of attempted notification. In the event of non-compliance within this period, an alternate winner will be selected. Any prize notification or prize returned to the Sponsor as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. Except where prohibited by law, the winner consents to the use of their name, image and entry in any manner by Sweepstakes Entities and their advertising and promotion agencies without further compensation.

Neither Sponsor nor its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, or related companies are responsible for any damages, taxes, or expenses that the winners might incur as a result of this Sweepstakes or receipt of prizes. Winners accepting prizes agree that all prizes are awarded on the condition that Sweepstakes Entities, their agents, representatives, affiliates and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or any travel related thereto. Winner further acknowledges that Sponsor is not responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, availability, mechanical condition or fitness.

If for any reason beyond the control of Sponsor, the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as planned, Sponsor in its sole discretion reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.

Entries made by Internet will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. Authorized account holder is deemed as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. If the potentially winning entry is an Internet or other computer entry, the potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the potentially winning entry. If for any reason the online portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Each Sweepstakes entrant agrees that (i) any dispute arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes or these Official Rules shall be resolved individually and without resort to any class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court within the State of California, County of Marin, and (ii) to waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages (including attorneys’ fees), other than actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., expenses associates with participating in this Sweepstakes) and any and all right to have such claims multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues, questions or controversies concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the right and obligations of Sweepstakes entrants shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws, rules or provisions (whether the State of California or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than that of the State of California.
